NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will be conducting two more rounds for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2022) counselling for BDS and BSc nursing courses this year. The first round of NEET UG counselling 2022 will begin from October 11 for All India Quota (AIQ) seats, as per the schedule announced at mcc.nic.in.
According to the NEET UG 2022 counselling schedule, the round 1 for deemed and central institutes will begin a day before NEET AIQ counselling, October 10, 2022, while the state counselling for medical courses is slated to begin from October 17, 2022.
The MCC also announced that the classes for MBBS, BDS, BSc nursing courses for this academic year 2022 will start from November 15, 2022.

“There will be two more rounds i.e 2nd Mop Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round for BDS, BSc Nursing courses. The schedule will be uploaded on the MCC website, mcc.nic.in,” the official notice read.
It has also directed all participating institutes and medical colleges to treat all Saturdays, Sundays and Gazetted Holidays as working days in view the limited time available for conducting NEET counselling 2022.

Forwarding the list of students in order of merit equalling to ten times the number of vacant seat to the medical colleges by the counselling authority to the Deemed University for Stray Vacancy Round will be done on December 14, 2022.
