NEET UG State Counselling 2025: Assam postpones round 2, MP reopens resignation link

Download EBookFollowing the changes in NEET UG state counselling schedule 2025, Assam has postponed the second round while Madhya Pradesh has reopened round 1 resignation window. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) recently announced the revised dates for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025 counselling for both 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and 85% state quota seats in MBBS, BDS programmes.
The Director of Medical Education, Assam informed that the new dates for Assam NEET UG round 2 counselling 2025 for admissions to vacant MBBS, BDS seats in medical and dental colleges will be notified soon on the official website, dme.assam.gov.in.
“This is for information of all concerned that in pursuance of new schedule declared by the Medical Counselling Committee, Government of India, the process of 2nd round online counselling is hereby postponed until further order,” the latest notification read.

On the other hand, the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) MP has reopened the link to resign and edit upgradation from September 2 to 7 on dme.mponline.gov.in. “This is for information to all the candidates who are participating in State UG counselling that in view of revised time schedule for All india and state UG counselling published at MCC portal, the resignation/cancellation link and edit upgradation option link is being reopened from 02.09.25 up to 07.09.25 (up to 06:00 pm),” said the directorate in the recent notice.
