NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 26: NEST 2019 official notification is expected to be announced today even as National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar will be notifying the important dates of NEST 2019. According to an earlier notice, the admission notification for NEST 2019 was to be declared on December 26, 2018.

According to the previous years’ trend, the NEST 2019 application form, most probably will begin on January 7 and end on March 4, 2019. The NEST 2019 is likely to be scheduled on June 1 in two slots. The first session will begin at 9:00 am and the second at 2:00 pm.

The candidates who wish to apply for NEST 2019 need to register online at the official website -nestexamdotin. The NEST 2019 aspirants will need to provide their name, date of birth, Class 10th roll number, a mobile number and an email id to complete the online registration process of National Entrance Screening Test (NEST). It’s advised that the candidates should keep the following information handy before they proceed for NEST 2019 registration.

About NEST 2019

The National Entrance Screening Test or NEST as it’s commonly called is the test conducted jointly by NISER Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai for admissions to five-year integrated MSc programmes offered at both the institutes.

The candidates interested in applying for NEST 2019 need to have qualified 12th board examination compulsorily in science stream with a combination of any three subjects– Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics at Class XI and Class XII levels. There is also an age cap for NEST 2019.

The three-hour screening test will be a computer-based test with multiple choice objective-type questions provided in English language only.
