NEW DELHI: The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) online application 2021 window will be closed today, May 10. The NEST is conducted by the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar along with the University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS) Mumbai jointly. Interested candidates who are yet to complete the online NEST 2021 registration cum application process can apply before midnight on the official website nestexam.in.
Candidates can register for NEST 2021 by entering the name, date of birth, Class 10 roll number/ seat number, working email id, mobile number and gender. Candidates will receive the user id and password of NEST 2021 student account in their registered email id and mobile number.
As per the institute’s admission policy, candidates can start filling the NEST application form 2021 using the login credentials. NEST application fee 2021 can be paid online by using debit/ credit card or net banking facility.
The admission criteria outlined by NISER and UM-DAE CEBS specify that candidates who have completed their Class 12 board examination with a minimum of 60% marks are eligible to fill the online NEST 2021 application form. Any application form of NEST 2021 found without submission of valid documents like scanned copies of the qualifying mark sheet, recent passport size photograph and candidate’s signature or erroneous details will not be accepted.
NEST 2021 online application deadline was earlier extended considering the aggravating situation of the second wave of Covid-19. The institute will release the NEST 2021 admit card on May 30. The NEST 2021 online entrance test is scheduled for June 14 and the NEST result 2021 will be declared on June 30.
