JEE Main 2021 Postponed: Know status of BITSAT, KCET, EAMCET and other engineering entrance exams

NEW DELHI: The second wave of COVID-19 has led to the postponement of many engineering entrance examinations, in addition to the extension of the application process for these exams. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the April and May sessions of JEE Main 2021 exam due to COVID-19 and informed that the new exam dates will be notified later. Joint Entrance Exam Main - JEE Main 2021

The NTA has successfully conducted the February and March sessions of JEE Main 2021. However, due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, both April and May JEE Main 2021 sessions have been postponed. Now, the new JEE Main April and May 2021 exam dates will be notified later.

Joint Entrance Exam Advanced- JEE Advanced 2021

IIT Kharagpur will conduct JEE Advanced on July 3 as per the schedule. However, as the JEE Main sessions are delayed; JEE Advanced 2021 exam date is also expected to be changed accordingly.

VIT Engineering Entrance Exam- VITEEE 2021

Vellore Institute of Technology has recently revised the VITEEE 2021 exam dates to May 28, 29 and 31. Also, now VITEEE 2021 will be conducted as a remote-proctored home-based exam. This has also led to changes in the VITEEE exam pattern 2021. Earlier, VITEEE 2021 exam dates were June 18 to 26, 2021, and the exam was to be conducted as a centre-based online test. VITEEE application form 2021 is available till May 20.

SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam- SRMJEEE 2021

The SRM Institute of Science and Technology has recently released the notification for the conduct of SRMJEEE 2021. As per the revised schedule, SRMJEEE 2021 will be conducted in two phases. SRMJEEE 2021 phase 1 exam date is May 23 and 24 and the last date of application for phase 1 is May 15. SRMJEEE 2021 phase 2 exam date is July 25 and 26 and the last date of application for phase 2 is July 20.

Karnataka Common Entrance Test- KCET 2021

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the KCET 2021 exam dates. As per the official notification, KCET 2021 will be conducted on July 7 and 8. All other KCET 2021 dates like application, admit card, etc. are yet to be announced.

Birla Institute of Science and Technology Admission Test- BITSAT 2021

BITS Pilani will close the submission of the BITSAT application form 2021 on May 29. BITSAT 2021 application was released on February 23. As per the schedule, BITSAT 2021 will be held from June 24 to 30.

Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test- TS EAMCET 2021

JNTU Hyderabad has released the TS EAMCET application form 2021 on March 20. The last date to apply for the TS EAMCET without late fee is May 18. TS EAMCET 2021 exam dates are July 5 and 6 for the agriculture exam and July 7 to 9 for the engineering exam. Also, the requirement of 25% weightage to intermediate marks criteria for TS EAMCET has also been scrapped for this year.

Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test- COMEDK UGET 2021

COMEDK UGET application form 2021 is available online till May 20. The application form was released on March 22. COMEDK UGET 2021 exam date is June 20. The authorities have also released two COMEDK UGET mock tests so far. A total of six mock tests will be released before the exam.

Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination- JEECUP 2021

The last date to submit the JEECUP application form 2021 was April 15, which was extended to April 30 due to increasing COVID-19 cases and was extended again till May 15. JEECUP application form 2021 was released on February 26. JEECUP 2021 exam is scheduled to be conducted from June 15 to 20.
