: NISER, Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS have extended the NEST 2022 registration last date till May 21. Earlier the last date to submit the NEST application form 2022 was May 18. NEST examination 2022 will be held for a duration of 3.5 hrs on June 18 in 92 cities.

The medium of NEST entrance test 2022 will be only English. The NEST application form 2022 should be completed by candidates after checking the eligibility criteria of their desired programme. NEST 2022 result will be announced on July 5, in online mode.

NEST 2022 eligibility criteria
- Qualifying exam: Candidates must have qualified in science stream in Class 12th examination or be appearing in it from an Indian recognized board.
- Qualifying exam marks: Applicants belonging to General category are required to have a minimum aggregate of 60% in the Class 12th examination, whereas candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD categories need to score 55% aggregate in Class 12th.
- Lower age limit: Candidates taking the entrance exam must meet the lower age limit outlined by the authorities. According to the category of candidates, the age limit varies. General and OBC candidates must have been born after August 1, 2002, while SC, ST, PwD candidates are given a 5 year grace period to be born after August 1, 1997.
Candidates who qualify the NEST and match the NEST eligibility criteria 2022 are offered admission to five-year integrated MSc programs offered by NISER Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS.
