NEW DELHI: National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, and Mumbai University - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UMDAE CEBS), has announced the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2025 schedule. The NEST 2025 exam date is June 22. The NEST 2025 will be held in a single session from 9 am to 12: 30 pm.
As per the official schedule, the NEST 2025 registration will commence from February 17. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to fill out the NEST 2025 application form by visiting the official website, nestexam.in. The last date to fill up the NEST 2025 application form is May 9. Last year, the NEST exam conducted on June 30 and result was declared on July 12.
Registered candidates will get an opportunity to edit their already submitted NEST 2025 application forms. The NEST 2025 application correction window will open on May 10. Candidates will be able to edit their NEST 2025 form till May 14. As per the official schedule, the BEST 2025 mock test is schedule on May 16. The NEST 2025 admit card will be issued on June 2. The NEST result date 2025 is yet to be announced. As per the official poster, only best 3 subjects will be considered for NEST merit list 2025 preparation.
Candidates are required to pay the NEST 2025 application fee to complete the registration process. The NEST 2025 application fee for General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) is Rs 1, 400. On the other hand, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Person with Disability (PwD) and women candidates are required to pay Rs 700 as NEST 2025 application fee.
The NEST 2025 exam will be held online in computer-based mode. The medium of the paper will be English and Hindi. The duration of the NEST 2025 exam is 3 hours 30 minutes. The NEST exam 2025 will consist of 4 sections- biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics. The NEST 2025 carries a total of 240 marks. The paper will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Multiple Selection Questions (MSQs). There will be a total of 80 questions. Candidates will 3 marks for each correct answer. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for incorrect answers.
