NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has allowed candidates participating in the third round of National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2023 to change their nationality from Indian to NRI from 5 pm today till 5 pm on September 22 through email to – nri.adgmemcc1@gmail.com.
“Such candidates should send their relevant documents as mentioned below, in support of their claim to change nationality from Indian to NRI through e-mail nri.adgmemcc1@gmail.com from 05:00 PM of 21st Sept., 2023 till 05:00 P.M of 22nd Sept., 2023,” MCC said in an official notice.

The counselling committee informed students that mails received before or after the stipulated time will not be considered. “Candidates are advised to send all documents enclosed in single mail only, within stipulated time. Mails received in piecemeal and in duplicate will not be considered. Also, candidates who have already been made eligible in Round-3 earlier and have been converted to NRI, need not send their documents again,” it added.
“The conversion of Nationality of candidates from ‘Indian’ to ‘NRI’ is ‘Provisional’ based on the documents submitted by the candidates which will be verified by the allotted college authorities at the time of reporting and the Embassy Certificate from the sponsorer may be sent to the Ministry of External Affairs/ respective High Commissions for verification. If found ‘FAKE’ the Provisional Allotment of candidate may be cancelled and legal action might be initiated by the competent authority,” MCC further said.
