National Institute of Design (NID) has announced the Bachelor of Design (BDes) final results today, May 16. Candidates who appeared for the NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) BDes exam 2025 can check the final score through the official website, admissions.nid.edu.

Candidates can view their NID BDes DAT result 2025 using their login credentials such as email address and date of birth. Along with the NID BDes final result 2025, the institute has also begun the counselling process. After viewing their NID BDes result 2025, candidates will be asked to submit their institute campus preference.
The last date to submit the institute campus preference is May 19, 2025. Candidates can modify their institute campus preferences multiple times during this period. The final selection submitted before the deadline will be treated as final and considered for further processing.
“If the candidate fails to submit her/his Institute campus preference by 5 pm, Monday, 19 May 2025, s/he will lose the chance to proceed further in the Admissions process. It will be considered that the candidate is not interested to opt for any seat; and her/his seat will be offered to the next qualifying candidate in the order of merit in the respective category, and the candidate cannot participate in the subsequent rounds of the admissions process,” the official notice said.
The institute will announce the NID BDes round 1 seat allotment result on May 27. The allotment will be made based on candidates' institute campus preferences, their position in the merit list, and the availability of seats in each category. Candidates whose names are in the merit list can confirm their seat and make payment by May 30.
Candidates who are provisionally allotted a seat will have to pay a non-refundable token fee of Rs 30,000 for candidates from India and Rs 75,000 for overseas applicants. Candidates will also have to upload the required documents before May 30.

Candidates will have to upload the following documents in PDF format each of size not more than 2 MB. As per the institute, if the candidate fails to upload the documents by May 30, the provisional seat allotment will be cancelled, even if the non-refundable token fee is paid.
