NID DAT 2019 gets over; Students find paper easy; more weightage to drawing section

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 6, 2019: NID DAT 2019 has concluded. The entrance exam was conducted in offline mode across 21 different cities in the country. As the exam concludes, Careers360 interacted with the students who have appeared for the NID DAT 2019 to find out how was the paper.

NID DAT 2019 Exam Analysis

The question paper of NID DAT 2019 was divided into two parts. As per the students who have appeared for the entrance, Part 1 of the paper consist of 1 to 22 objective type questions, where question 1 to 14 were one mark each while 15 to 22 were 2 marks.

Talking about Part 2, it carried 4 subjective type questions. Question 23 which was drawing part consist of 15 marks, while question 24 was of 20 marks and 25 was of 15 marks. The last question 26 was divided into three parts which carry 8, 6 & 7 marks respectively. Therefore, objective part was of 30 marks and subjective of 70 marks. As per students, Drawing section was difficult, whereas the objective part was easy. Students did not face any problem in the question paper. 

"There were no glitches in the examination or the question paper. The paper was easy," said Kanu, one of the candidates who appeared for the examination. While Geetanjali finds drawing section a bit difficult, however, according to her overall paper was easy. 

The authorities are likely to release the answer key of NID DAT 2019 around second week of Januray. 

Authorities will release the result of NID DAT 2019 on March 19, 2019 at 4 p.m.
