Gurugram - National Institute of Design has released the result of NID DAT 2020 for M.Des on February 21. Initially the result was supposed to be declared on February 18. The result of the NID DAT prelims exam is available on the official website of NID and is in the form of merit list based on the score. Students who clear the prelims exam will have to appear in the NID DAT mains exam.

If candidates find any discrepancies in the NID DAT result, then they can submit the request for re-evaluating on the official website http://admissions.nid.edu

Students have to pay Rs 2000 as a rechecking fee
Tie - Breaking Criteria of NID DAT - Prelims

Higher rank is assigned to the candidates who scored more marks in Part B of the prelims exam

If the tie still persists, candidates with more score in Part A of DAT - Prelims is ranked higher
-
If the tie still remains, then the same rank is awarded to both the candidates

NID DAT is a national level exam conducted by National Institute of Design on the basis of pen and paper mode. NID conducts NID DAT to offer admission in design programmes for Postgraduate and Undergraduate courses.
