The National Institute of Design has declared the NID DAT 2022 prelims result today, April 23 in online mode. Candidates can check the NID DAT prelims result by visiting the official website- admissions.nid.edu. Those candidates who have appeared for NID DATM.Des preliminary exam on January 2, 2022 can check NID DAT 2022 prelims result by entering the login credentials such as NID DAT roll number and date of birth.

NID will declare NID DAT 2022 result in the form of a merit list. Apart from the NID DAT M.Des result will contain the overall score of the candidate. If a candidate is not satisfied with their NID DAT prelims result then in such case they can submit the request for re-evaluating the answer booklet in online mode. Those candidates who are opting re-evaluation facility will have to pay a re-checking fee of Rs 2000. The amount can be paid via online mode by using a credit/ debit card or net banking.

How to check NID DAT prelims result 2022
Registered candidates can refer to the following steps while checking NID DAT M.Des 2022 prelims result.
Step 1- Visit the official website of NID DAT
Step 2- Click on the “Result” tab and enter the required login credentials such as registered email address, date of birth, roll number/application number of NID DAT M.Des
Step 3- Click on “Submit” button
Step 4- NID DAT prelims result will be displayed on the computer screen
Step 5- Download NID DAT M.Des 2022 scorecard and take a print out of it for future reference
NID DAT prelims result 2022- Tie-breaking policy
In case two or more candidates secured same marks in the NID DAT M.Des preliminary exam, then the following tie-breaking policy will be implemented for awarding rank.

A higher rank will be awarded to the candidates securing higher marks in Part B of the NID DAT M.Des preliminary exam

If the tie remains to persist, a higher rank will be awarded to the candidate who secured more marks in Part A of the DAT exam

If a tie still persists then both the candidates will be awarded the same rank
What after NID DAT prelims result 2022
After the declaration of NID DAT M.Des 2022 prelims result, a re-valuation window will take place. After closing of NID DAT re-checking window, shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the NID DAT mains exam. As of now, authorities have not announced the NID DAT mains exam date 2022.
NID DAT merit list 2022
The National Institute of Design will release the final merit list after the conclusion of the NID DAT mains result. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidates' performance in all stages of the exam. Authorities will prepare the NID DAT M.Des merit list as per candidates category. There will be a separate NID DAT M.Des merit list for overseas candidates.
