NEW DELHI, MAY 25: National Institute of Fashion Technology has started the registration process for NIFT counselling on May 27. The institute will be arranging multiple rounds of NIFT Counselling 2019 which will continue till the third week of July, 2019. There is no registration fee for the first round of the NIFT counselling, however, the institute will charge Rs. 5000 as a non-refundable fee to register for every other round.

It is highly suggested that the candidate pay the notified admission fee for their semester in NIFT immediately at the counselling campus. If the candidates fail in doing so, the offer will be withdrawn and the candidate will lose his/her candidature.
Steps for registration for Counselling
Step 1 - Candidates will have to register by clicking on the official link which is niftadmissions.in
Step 2 - Choose the programme
Step 3 -Now enter the form number, date of birth and password
Step 4 -Click on login tab
Step 5 - Now fill the choice of programme and campus
Documents to be carried at the time of NIFT Counselling
System generated letter/e-mail received by the candidate
Photograph (2 Passport & 4 Stamp Size)
10th Certificate from the Board from which he/she passed the High School/ Secondary Examination (for date of birth)
Marksheet & Certificate of having passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination.
Marksheet & Certificate of having passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination, showing the subjects offered by him/her in the examination. Physics, Chemistry and Math for B.F. Tech.
Certificate from the prescribed authority showing that he/she belongs to a Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/OBC (Non-Creamy) category. (Applicable only to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ OBC (Non-Creamy) category).
Certificate from the prescribed authority showing that he/she belongs to Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category. (Applicable only to candidates of General Category seeking EWS reservation)
Semester Fee – Demand Draft of Rs. 1,45,950/- (One lakh Forty-Five Thousand Nine hundred Fifty only) (Non-NRI) drawn in favour of the NIFT HO payable at the city of the Counselling
Copy of 12th class School Leaving Certificate(for domicile seats only)
Valid PWD certificate (Only for PWD candidates)
Copy of 1st, 2nd & 3rd-year graduation mark sheet/ self-attested copy of final year appearing certificate (For Master Programmes)
Undertaking for the candidate seeking provisional admission-(Annexure-I)
Undertaking from the students, as per provisions of anti-ragging (Annexure-II)
Undertaking about Eligibility, Fee and Refund (Annexure IV)
Medical Fitness Certificate in the prescribed format (Annexure VI)
Form for withdrawal of Admission (Annexure-III)
Authorization letter from the candidate who is not in a position to attend in person (Annexure VII) (Not applicable for PWD candidates)
About NIFT 2019
National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) conducts entrance exam every year for candidates who wish to seek admission to B.Des and B.F.Tech programmes in its 16 campuses all over India. The NIFT 2019 was held on January 20 and the final result of which was released on May 20.
