Who can apply for NIFT 2022
Design aspirants wishing to secure admission in National Institute of Fashion Technology need to clear the NIFT entrance exam. It is mandatory for the candidates to meet the following NIFT eligibility criteria in order to appear in the NIFT 2022 entrance exam.

Aspirants must pass a 10+2 board exam or equivalent from any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination.

Aspirants appearing the 10+2 exam or equivalent in 2022 can also apply for NIFT entrance exam.

General category candidates must be of 23 years of age as on August 1, 2022.

SC/ST/PwD candidates get relaxation of the 5 year upper age limit.

About NIFT entrance exam
NIFT entrance exam is a qualifying exam for BDes, BFtech, MDes, MFM and MFtech admission at NIFT campuses. NIFT entrance exam is conducted at national level every year in pen and paper format. The design entrance exam consists of a written test, situation test, personal interview/GD.
