The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has opened the registration window for seat allotment and online counselling for admission to its undergraduate, postgraduate, and lateral entry programmes 2026. Applicants who have secured a valid common merit rank (CMR) in the NIFT entrance examination 2026 can now complete the counselling registration process through the official portal of NIFT at nift.admissions.nic.in.

According to the official notice, the registration process will end on June 22, 2026 and the last date to fill programme and campus preferences is June 25, 2026 till midnight.

Candidates applying under the artisan/ward of artisan quota will be conducted independently. As a result, applicants in this category are not required to register or take part in the standard online e-counselling procedure.
