NEW DELHI: The National testing Agency (NTA) has released the NIFT 2024 admit card on the official website, nift.ac.in. The NTA will conduct the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) on February 5 for admission into BDes and BFTech, MDes, MFM and MFTech and PhD programmes.
The NIFT 2024 exam for general ability test (GAT) will be a computer-based test (CBT) while the creative ability test (CAT) will be conducted in paper-based test (PBT) mode. The question paper will be bilingual i.e. the questions will be in Hindi and English. Candidates are required to answer in the medium as per option exercised in the NIFT application form. In case of any ambiguity between Hindi and English versions due to translation, the latter will be treated as final.
Students will have to bring the NIFT 2024 admit card, along with a self declaration undertaking. The students can download the self declaration from the NTA Website on a A4 size paper. The candidates can also carry a transparent ballpoint pen, pencil, erasers, ruler in a transparent pouch. Candidates appearing for CAT also need to carry their colouring and drawing material.
For CAT a physical question booklet with space for responses will be provided at the centre. They will also have to carry additional photograph – similar to one uploaded on the online application form. The photo will be pasted on the attendance sheet in examination room.
They should also possess an original photo identity card such as college IF with photograph, PAN card, driver’s licence, voter ID, passport, Aadhaar card and others.
