NIFT spot round 2025 registration open till August 4; 1,088 UG, 448 PG seats on offer

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has commenced NIFT spot round counselling 2025 registrations. The last date for NIFT spot counselling 2025 is August 4, and seat allotment will be announced on August 8. A total of 1,088 undergraduate (UG) and 448 postgraduate (PG) seats are offered for the NIFT spot counselling 2025.

The spot round registration is open for all candidates who have qualified NIFT entrance exam and have a valid common merit rank (CMR) programme. For NIFT UG (lateral) spot round counselling 2025, a total of 852 seats are on offer.

Additionally, as per the NIFT spot round counselling 2025 schedule, corrections in the application form option for NRI-sponsored seats by already registered candidates will be held today till 6 pm, and document verification till 10 pm.

NIFT Spot Round Counselling 2025: Who all can apply?

The eligibility criteria for NIFT spot round counselling registration is as follows.

• Candidates having Common Merit Rank (CMR).
• Candidates who have been allotted a seat and paid the fee in previous counselling rounds. Candidates who have not been allotted a seat in the previous rounds of seat allotment.
• Candidates who have been allotted a seat in rounds 1 to 3 but have not paid the fees.
• Candidates who have withdrawn from the seat allotted in previous rounds of counselling.
• Candidates with valid CMR who have not registered for allotment and/or have not filled in preference/choice filling & not uploaded the documents during the registration for allotment.
• Candidates having CMR under NLEA (Lateral Entry Admission).
