NEW DELHI : The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has issued the date sheet of practical exams for the March-April 2025 session. Accordingly, the NIOS practical exams 2025 will be conducted from March 17 to April 1. The NIOS hall ticket 2025 for practical exams will be issued on the portal before the commencement of the practicals.
NIOS has asked all the regional directors to upload the NIOS 10th, 12th practical exam date sheet 2025 on the specific websites, inform all practical examination centres and also issue a press release in the local dailies.
The regional centers have been asked to depute observers to ensure smooth and fair conduct and strict monitoring of the NIOS 10th, 12th practical exams 2025.
Moreover, NIOS informed that the attendance sheets for practical exams will be available on the dashboard of practical examination centers which can be downloaded by the examination centre superintendent. The awards of practical examinations are to be uploaded by the practical examination centres at NIOS portal as per schedule which will be notified shortly.

NIOS Practical Exams 2025: Instructions for students, centres
The school issued the following instructions for candidates as well as exam centres:
- Candidates can download the intimation-cum-hall ticket on NIOS website, sdmis.nios.ac.in.
- All the practical examinations will be held in the study centres unless otherwise (cancelled/non functional Als/less no of learners registered) notified by the concerned regional centre.
- Since practical examinations are being conducted in small batches, learners or candidates are advised to contact the centre superintendent or coordinator of Als well in advance of the commencement of the practical exam to know specified dates as well as the batch allotted to them.
- For practical exams, the candidates at Als will be divided in the required number of batches according to the capacity of the laboratory and in consultation with the examiners concerned by the superintendent/coordinator of the study centre/Als.
- The result of the examination is likely to be declared after seven weeks from the last date of the theory examination. No enquiries about the actual date of declaration of result will be entertained. The result will be made available immediately on NIOS website, sdmis.nios.ac.in, after the declaration.
- The marksheet-cum-certificate and migration-cum-transfer certificate will be issued to the successful candidates directly through their respective Als. In case of cancelled Als these documents will be sent to them by the regional centre by post at their residential addresses available at NIOS.
- There will be no change in the dates of the examination.
- The examination fee paid by the candidates entitles them to appear in practical examination, if otherwise eligible, without having to pay anything extra at the examination centre.
- It is compulsory to upload the practical marks by the examination centres through online mode only.
