NEW DELHI: The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking 2022 will be released tomorrow, July 15. Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan will be declaring the India ranking 2022 of top educational institutes in a virtual event.

Under NIRF Rankings 2022, institutes will be ranked on these categories – Overall, Universities, Engineering, Colleges, Management, Pharmacy, Medical, Law, Architecture, Dental, and Research.
NIRF outlines a methodology to rank institutions drawing from the overall recommendations broad understanding arrived at by a Core Committee set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), to identify the broad parameters for ranking various universities and institutions. The parameters broadly cover “Teaching, Learning and Resources,” “Research and Professional Practices,” “Graduation Outcomes,” “Outreach and Inclusivity,” and “Perception”.
For each category, there is a different methodology which is available on the official website of NIRF - nirf.org.
The parameters are further divided into different evaluation methods which carry different weightage.

Graduation Outcomes (GO)
Outreach and Inclusivity (OI)
Peer Perception
