NIRF Ranking 2023: Sharda University grabs 87th position; check details

NEW DELHI: The Sharda University Greater Noida has been ranked at 87th in the university category according to the latest NIRF ranking 2023 released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India on JUne 5, 2023. Sharda University got the 87th position in the NIRF ranking 2023 on the basis of excellent performance in engineering, management, and pharmacy.

This year, out of about forty thousand institutions in the country, 8,686 were evaluated, based on which the list of the first 100 institutions was released.

Mr. PK Gupta, Chancellor, Sharda University said “This is the result of our teamwork. Our faculty and research team always work hard for students’ growth. Our consistent pursuit of excellence has brought us this well-deserved recognition, and it serves as a reminder of our collective potential to reach greater heights”.

Further they also added that the Sharda University’s faculties’ passion for teaching, research, and administration has been instrumental in shaping the institution's reputation and contributing to its growth and soon Sharda University will prove its superiority not only in the country but also abroad.

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was approved by the MHRD which provides methodology to rank institutions across the country. Various parameters that are broadly covered to provide NIRF ranking are “Teaching, Learning and Resources,” “Research and Professional Practices,” “Graduation Outcomes,” “Outreach and Inclusivity,” and “Perception”.
