NIRF ranking 2024 tomorrow; top universities in India in last three years

NIRF Ranking 2024 University: The rankings of the best institutions in India will be announced at 2:30 pm tomorrow and will be available at nirfindia.org.
NEW DELHI : Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan will announce the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking 2024 tomorrow, August 12. India rankings 2024 will be announced at 2:30 pm during an event at Shastri Bhawan. India’s colleges and universities will be ranked based on five parameters set by the education ministry.
The nation-wide institutes will be ranked in 13 different categories and one of them is ‘universities’. For the last three years, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) located in Karnataka’s Bangalore has been ranking as the top university in the country. The institute offers research in science, engineering, and other disciplines. Notably, IISc has ranked as the best Indian institute in the international rankings.
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has been following the institute closely, running in the second place for these years. In the third place, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) held the spot for the last two years, however, Banaras Hindu University was the third best university three years ago. Though BHU went down to the fifth place in the latest NIRF rankings .
West Bengal’s Calcutta University, for once, secured a place in the rankings by emerging as the fourth best university three years earlier.
