NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Andhra Pradesh started the induction programme for 716 first year engineering students for the academic year 2021-22 today. The programme will be conducted in online mode from December 15 to 24, 2021.

The 2021 batch of BTech students at NIT AP will pursue the revised curriculum as per the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The online classes for BTech students will commence from December 27, 2021, said an official statement.

This year, 716 students took admission in various BTech programmes at NIT AP including:

Addressing the event, CSP Rao, director, NIT Andhra Pradesh said: “The students should plan for a creative learning pathway towards their future career success from the initial stage only.
