The Consortium of NLUs is using various social media platforms such as Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and Telegram to connect with the law aspirants. Earlier, the CNLU also held two live sessions on Youtube to discuss the LLM programmes in National Law Universities and integrated BA LLB programme.
This year, the exam pattern of CLAT has been changed in several aspects such as the number of questions to be asked in CLAT UG have been reduced from 200 to 150. The questions will now be focussed on evaluating the comprehension and reasoning skills and abilities of candidates. And, the test will be designed to test the candidate’s ability to apply reason, aptitude and skills in answering the questions rather than the prior knowledge.
The CNLU has so far actively engaged itself with the CLAT aspirants in making them aware of the new test structure and test pattern. Targetting the CLAT UG aspirants, the conducting body has also released UG CLAT learning materials which include subject-wise preparation guides. At the postgraduate level, the candidates are provided with CLAT PG guide and preparation tips by Prof. Faizan Mustafa. Candidates can access these materials by visiting the official CLAT 2020 website.
Latest updates on CLAT 2020 - As per the latest schedule released by the Consortium, CLAT 2020 will now be conducted on June 21. Meanwhile, the application form is extended up to May 18. This year, the exam schedule of almost all law entrance exams including CLAT 2020 has been affected due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The exams have been rescheduled multiple times as the lockdown continues to be in operation.
