NLU Meghalaya UG admission test on April 5; application process starts from January 13

NLU Meghalaya Admission 2025: Candidates, except Meghalaya state-domiciled ST, must pay an application fee of Rs 3,500 to register for the exam.
NEW DELHI: The National Law University (NLU) Meghalaya invites applications for its various undergraduate (UG) programmes. The institute will conduct the National Admission Test (MEG UAT) on April 5, 2025. Eligible candidates will be able to register for the MEG UAT admission test through the official website at nlumeg.ac.in.
The institute will open a registration window for the NLU Meghalaya admission test from January 13, 2025, to March 8, 2025. The NLU Meghalaya is offering admission to various UG programmes, including Bachelor of Arts (Policy Science) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) [BA LLB (Hons.)], Bachelor of Business Administration (FinTech) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) [BBA LLB (Hons.)], and Bachelor of Science (Data Science) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) [BS LLB (Hons.)].
National Admission Test 2025: Application fee
Candidates from all categories except for Meghalaya state-domiciled scheduled tribes (ST) will have to pay an application fee of Rs 3,500 to register for the exam. Meghalaya state-domiciled ST candidates are required to pay Rs 2,000.

NLU Meghalaya UG Admission 2025: Eligibility criteria
Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for the NLU Meghalaya UG admission 2025 given below.
- Candidates should have passed Class 12 with first division, 60% or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale. Those who have appeared for the Class 12 examination and are awaiting results are eligible to apply. In such cases, they must attach proof of CGPA/ Marks in the Class 10 (Secondary) examination;
- “The CGPA will not be converted into percentage marks if the degree-awarding Institute/University provides marks in the CGPA system. Then, the admission will be based on the CGPA awarded in the transcript. If the CGPA is on a different scale other than 10, the eligibility of the candidate will be calculated corresponding to the equivalence,” the official website read.
Candidates will be selected based on performance in the NLU Meg Undergraduate Admission Test (MEG UAT) and personal interview. The personal interview is scheduled to be conducted from April 14 to 19, 2025 in online mode. The institute will issue the first merit list of qualified candidates, based on seat availability on April 23 and 24, 2025.
