NMC directs medical colleges to upload NEET SS 2024 admission details by October 15

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has directed all medical colleges and postgraduate institutes in India to submit admission details of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS) 2024. As per the official notice, the information should be entered on the NMC’s online admission monitoring portal, by October 15, 2025.

In an official communication issued by the Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB), the NMC reminded institutions that all admissions to super speciality courses for the academic year 2024-25 should follow merit and transparency guidelines as per regulations. Any violation may lead to the discharge of students and action against the concerned colleges.

“The Medical Colleges are required to ensure that all admission in the SS courses are strictly in accordance with merit and are made in a transparent and fair manner as envisaged in the Regulations. Any violation shall lead to discharge of the concerned students from the courses and such action against the concerned Medical College/Institution as is permissible in law,” the official notice said.

NEET SS 2024 details submission via NMC portal

Institutions have been directed to use their existing login credentials to submit the admission data through the NMC website at nmc.org.in. The commission states that the uploaded information will serve as the only official record for monitoring purposes, and colleges need not send hard copies.

The NMC also clarified that details of students admitted through NEET SS 2024, as entered by the institutions within the stipulated deadline, will be displayed on its website. Names of students whose details are not submitted by the deadline will not be reflected.

Directorates of Medical Education of all states and union territories have also been asked to submit admission details of their respective jurisdictions within two weeks of the last date of admission. Colleges facing login issues have been advised to email support.pgmonitoring@nmc.org.in with the subject line “Difficulty in logging in.”
