NMMS Exam result 2023 Telangana: The selected students of Class 8 will get Rs 1000 per month for two years.
NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Government Examinations Telangana has declared the National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) today, May 20, 2023. All candidates will be able to check their Telangana nmms result 2023 link on the NMMS Telangana official website bse.telangana.gov.in or via the direct link below. The Telanagana NMMS examination was conducted on December 18. The NMMS result 2023 Telangana date is May 16.

Earlier DGET had released the final answer key of NMMS result 2023 8th class on January 12. The directorate has released merit list of selected candidates. According to the merit list 2,716 candidates have been selected for the NMMS Telangana 2023.
A total number of 2,716 scholarships will be distributed among 33 districts. There will be district-wise reservation of scholarships for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), SEBC and physically-handicapped category candidates.
Candidates will receive a scholarship of Rs 1000 per month for two years for Class 9 and 10. The district with highest number of candidates, that is 283, selected for NMMS scholarship is Rangareddy.

To be eligible to sit for TS NMMS 2023 a student from the general category should have secured 55% and a student from SC/ ST should have secured 50%. The qualifying marks in NMMS Telanaga 2023 are 40 % for the general category and 32% for the reserved category (SC/ST).
The examination included the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Ability Test (SAT). The two sections contained questions from the science, maths, and social science syllabus of Classes 7 and 8. Both sections had 90 questions each for which 1 mark was allotted to each question.
Students had 180 minutes to complete the exam while physically disabled candidates received additional 30 minutes to complete the exam.
