Not satisfied with BBOSE 2024 marks? Apply for Class 10, 12 answer sheet scrutiny by January 17

NEW DELHI: The Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination (BBOSE) Patna has opened the window to apply for the scrutiny of answer sheets for students who appeared in the secondary and senior secondary examinations conducted in June 2024. The last date to apply for the BBOSE answer sheet scrutiny for the June 2024 exam is January 17, 2025.

Candidates who are not satisfied with their BBOSE June 2024 score can apply for the Class 10, 12 answer sheet scrutiny through the official website at secondary.biharboardonline.com and seniorsecondary.biharboardonline.com. Candidates will have to enter their roll number and date of birth to log in and complete the registration process.

“If any student is dissatisfied with the marks obtained in one or more subjects, they can apply for scrutiny (re-evaluation) of their answer sheets online through the committee’s website,” the English translation of the official notice read.

BBOSE 2024 10th, 12th scrutiny fee

As per the official notice, students will have to pay a fee of Rs 200 per subject during the registration of BBOSE June 2024 answer sheet scrutiny of Classes 10, and 12. The board announced the BBOSE June 2024 result on January 10, 2025.

BBOSE June 2024 scrutiny criteria

The board will conduct BBOSE June 2024 scrutiny for intermediate, matric answer sheets based on the following criteria.

• Rechecking the total marks for each question as recorded on the cover page.

• Verification of any unassessed answers by the appointed examiner.

• Ensuring that the marks for each question are correctly totalled and recorded by the head examiner.

BBOSE 2024 Result: How to apply for scrutiny

Students can follow the steps given below to apply for the BBOSE 2024 answer sheet scrutiny.

• Visit the official website at secondary.biharboardonline.com, seniorsecondary.biharboardonline.com.

• On the homepage, click on the answer sheet scrutiny link.

• Now, enter the roll number and date of birth to register and click on the "Apply for scrutiny" button.

• A page listing all subjects will appear, with an "Apply" button next to each subject.

• Click the "Apply" button for the subject(s) you want re-evaluated.

• Proceed to make the payment by clicking on "Make Payment."

• Download the copy and take a printout for future reference.
