National Testing Agency has commenced the JEE Main 2019 April attempt exam today. On the first day, Paper 2 for B.Arch admission is being conducted in both the shifts while from April 8 onwards Paper 1 for B.Tech admissions will be conducted on April 8, 9, 10 and 12. JEE Main 2019 exam is being conducted in complete online mode for all the papers except for drawing part of Paper 2 for B.Arch admission. As many as 8 lakh students have registered for appearing in JEE Main April 2019 exam.
Students who will be appearing in exam must carry a print out of their admit card along with a photo ID and a recent passport size coloured photograph. Students are also advised to read and adhere to all the instructions mentioned in the admit card. Below is the schedule of JEE Main exam

JEE Main is the gateway for B.Tech admissions in most prestigious colleges like IITs and NITs along with many other institutes of national and international repute in India. Students who qualify JEE Main becomes eligible for B.Tech admission in NITs while students who want to take admission in IITs have to further qualify JEE Advanced after qualifying JEE Main. JEE Advance 2019 exam will be conducted by IIT Roorkee on May 27.
JEE Main is the most coveted exam for engineering aspirants in India. National Testing Agency is the conducting body of JEE Main from this year onwards. NTA come up with many new changes like conducting JEE Main twice a year in January and April in complete online mode. Students also have the option of appearing in either or both of the attempts. The January attempt of JEE Main 2019 has been successfully conducted and the result for the exam has also been announced.
