NTA to conduct AISSEE 2021 exam on January 10; Applications to be started from October 20

NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency will conduct All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE 2021) on January 10, 2021. Earlier, Sainik School admission test was conducted by Sainik School Society. But this year, NTA will organize AISSEE 2021 exam and will invite applications for admission in 33 Sainik Schools across the country.

Students who fulfil the eligibility criteria can fill Class 6 and 9 application forms online on aissee.nta.nic.in. The application forms will be released on October 20, 2020. The last date to fill AISSEE 2021 application form and pay the examination fees is November 19, 2020.

AISSEE 2021 Highlights

This year, girls can also apply for Class 6 admission in all Sainik Schools. AISSEE 2021 exam will comprise of multiple-choice questions which will be organized in pen-paper mode (OMR based test).

Class 6 Eligibility

• Age limit: 10 to 12 years as on March 31, 2021.

Class 9 Eligibility

• Age limit: 13 to 15 years as on March 31, 2021.
• Educational qualification: Must have passed Class 8 at the time of admission.
