NTA CSIR UGC NET 2023 on December 26, 27, 28; registration begins at csirnet.nta.ac.in

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Joint CSIR UGC NET 2023 will be conducted on December 26, 27, and 28. NTA CSIR NET 2023 registration has also begun on the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in. The last date to apply for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test is November 30.

“National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December 2023 to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS) /Assistant Professor in Indian Universities and Colleges in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode,” NTA said in an official notice.

The testing agency will open the correction window for CSIR UGC NET 2023 on December 2. Candidates will be allowed to edit their application form by December 4.

The schedule of the research entrance exam is as follows:

The duration of the exam will be three hours. The test will be held for subjects including chemical sciences, earth, atmospheric, ocean and planetary sciences, life sciences, mathematical sciences, and physical sciences.

As per the exam pattern, the question paper will include multiple choice questions and the medium of exam will be bilingual.

NTA informed that the details of course code, eligibility criteria, question paper pattern, fee, etc. in the information bulletin on the official website.

“Before applying for Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December 2023, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the Information Bulletin carefully. The exam fee is also required to be paid online only through payment gateway using debit/credit cards, internet banking or UPI,” NTA further said.
