NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency has released a notification stating that the application correction facility of JEE Main 2020 will now be open till July 20 (5 PM). Earlier, the correction facility was supposed to be closed on July 15, however, the authorities have extended the dates to give the registered candidates another chance to make the required corrections. The correction facility is available at jeemain.nic.in.

While the corrections in the application form of JEE can be done till 5 PM of July 20, the payment of fee (if applicable) will be accepted up to 11:50 PM. Through this facility, the registered candidates can make corrections in the particulars submitted in JEE Main application form, choice of exam centres, photograph and signature.
Exam Centre Allotment
NTA has specified that all efforts will be undertaken to allot the exam centres as per the order of preference given by the candidates. However, if a different city is allotted due to unavailability of centres, then this decision of NTA will be final.
No changes will be accepted by the authorities after July 20, so the registered candidates are advised to complete the required corrections in the JEE Main application form as soon as possible.
Request for N.D.A. and N.A. Candidates
NTA has also requested candidates appearing for N.D.A. and N.A. examination which will be conducted by UPSC on September 6 to update as ‘Yes’ in the application form of JEE Main. This has to be done to ensure that no clash of schedule happens between JEE Main and N.D.A. and N.A. examination.
About JEE Main 2020
The second session of JEE Main 2020 is expected to be conducted between September 1 to 6 as a computer based test. The exam has been postponed several times due to COVID-19 pandemic. Many students have been protesting against the conduction of the examination, however NTA and MHRD have stayed firm that the exam will be held for undergraduate engineering admissions.
