NEW DELHI: In a telephonic conversation with NTA officials present at the helpdesk, it is confirmed that the authorities will not be releasing NEET admit card today. ‘Admit card will only be released after the lockdown period is over’ says the official. Medical aspirants must be aware that the slated date for release of the admit card was March 27, 2020. However,due to the nationwide lockdown following the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) speculations were being made that the admit card release date will get postponed. When will NTA release NEET admit cards?
Since, it is confirmed that the hall ticket is not releasing today, candidates must be anxious to know when is it actually going to be released. The answer to this is that until April 14, 2020 the admit card will not be made online. Candidates must expect the release date only after April 14 as until then the nation is under complete lockdown.
NTA helpline numbers
The authorities have provided 5 helpline numbers on which candidates can contact and get their queries resolved. Although most of them are usually switched off or busy, Careers360 managed to contact them on 8882356803 and get the latest update.
Upcoming events
NTA is committed to conduct NEET 2020 on May 3 for which the admit card is now expected to release in the month of April. Until then it is advised that candidates do not fall prey to any fake news and continue with their preparations to ace the exam.
NTA postponed JEE Main too
Aspirants across the country are being adversely affected by the outbreak of COVID-19 as somewhere exams are getting postponed at other places admissions and counselling are getting postponed too. NTA has also postponed the conduction of JEE Main for the April session and will announce fresh dates for the same on March 31, 2020.
