NTA issues PhD entrance exam 2023 city slip for DU, JNU, BHU, BBAU; admit card shortly

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the advance exam city intimation slip of PhD entrance exam for University of Delhi (DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU). Candidates who have registered for the PhD entrance examination 2023 will be able to download the exam city slip from the official website, nta.ac.in.

“Advance Intimation Slip informing the candidates of the allotment of the exam city has been hosted on https://phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in/. The Candidates may please note that this is NOT the admit card for entrance examination,” the NTA informed.

The NTA PhD entrance exam admit card 2023 will be issued shortly and will have details of the exam date, venue, timings. The exam city intimation slip is issued in advance to inform candidates about where their test centre will be allotted.

“In case of any difficulty in downloading or discrepancy in the details contained in the advance intimation slip, candidates can contact the NTA Help Desk at 011- 40759000 or write to NTA at phd@nta.ac.in,” it said.

As per this year’s exam pattern, the NTA has announced some changes including subjects in the common section - commerce, finance, art, culture and humanities - will be bilingual, both in English and Hindi. There will be no negative markings, it said.

The PhD entrance exam 2023 is not announced yet, however, as per the information bulletin, it will be held in two shifts for four days. Students will get three hours to complete the test.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the exam city intimation slip.

• Visit the NTA official website, nta.ac.in or phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in.
• Click on the PhD exam city intimation slip download link.
• Key in registration number and password generated during registration.
• The DU, JNU, BHU, BBAU PhD exam city slip will be displayed.
• Check the city allotted and download the slip for future reference.
