The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the dates for modifying the particulars in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains) 2026 application form for session 1. The testing agency will close the JEE Mains 2026 application window for session 1 on November 27. Eligible candidates seeking admission to engineering programmes at various colleges can apply for the entrance test through the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. No applications will be accepted after the deadline, the NTA said.
“The candidates are allowed to make the corrections, latest by 02 December 2025 (up to 11:50 Ρ.Μ.). Thereafter, no correction in particular, whatsoever, will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances. The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate concerned either through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI,” the official notice reads.
Candidates must note that the corrections in the particular fields will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee, if any.
Notably, only one-time correction will be allowed to the candidate and once the corrections are done and submitted, the JEE Mains 2026 application form will not be accessible.
The NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam from January 21 to 30, whereas the session 2 exam will be held from April 2 to 9. The JEE Mains entrance test is conducted for admission to BTech, BArch and BPlanning programmes at Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), National Institute of Technology (NITs), including other engineering institutes.
