NTA NEET 2019 Official Answer Key release date to be announced soon

NEW DELHI; May 21: The examination authority, National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to release the answer key for candidates who appeared for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET exam. NTA NEET official answer key 2019 release date is yet to be announced by the apex body and will be available on official website of ntaneet.nic.in. The offline exam for admission to 66,771 MBBS, 27,148 BDS, other AYUSH and 449 veterinary courses was successfully conducted on May 5, 2019, across India, except for Odisha, Karnataka and Siliguri candidates.

The official answer key displays the correct answers of questions asked, along with an opportunity for candidates to challenge it by paying an amount of Rs. 1000 per question in online mode. Using the NTA NEET official answer key 2019, aspirants can calculate the probable marks which they can obtain in the national-level entrance examination.

NTA NEET Official Answer Key 2019 release date

After the conclusion of NEET 2019 exam on May 20, for Odisha, Karnataka and Siliguri aspirants, the official NEET answer keys will be released soon. Here are the steps to download the answer key by NTA.

- Go to official website - ntaneet.nic.in

- Click on NEET answer key link available

- Login using the credentials

- Select the code of question paper carefully

- The PDF file of answer keys will be displayed on the screen

- Download the solutions and start matching the marked answers

Challenging NEET 2019 Official Answer Key

Since candidates have the opportunity to raise objections against the NTA answer key, the steps to challenge can be checked below.

- In the official website, login using registration number, date of birth and security pin

- Click on ‘apply for key challenge’ button

- The total number of questions will be provided under the first column and second one will mention the answers

- Select the answer(s) which is to be challenged by aspirants by clicking on the box provided against each question number

- Also, aspirants have to justify their challenge by providing a correct answer

- Clicking on ‘submit’ button will display a message stating that no changes will be made after submission

- Aspirants will be directed to the payment window, where Rs. 1000 per question should be paid through online mode using credit/debit cards or net banking

- Download the confirmation slip and take the printout for future references

NTA NEET Result 2019 declaration date

NEET result date is June 5, 2019, which will be released in the form of score cards. NTA result will also declare the cutoff marks corresponding to percentile along with the result. The result can be downloaded from NTA official website. Candidates who secure minimum qualifying percentile will be eligible to participate for 15% All India Quota counselling organised by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). While the allotment for 85% state quota seats will be done by state counselling authorities after the declaration of result.
