To make corrections in the NIFTEE 2026 application form, candidates will have to log in on the official portal at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee. As per the official notice, the NIFTEE 2026 application window will remain open for two days. The last date to edit details in the application form is January 22.
“The candidates are allowed to make the corrections, latest by 22 January 2026 (up to 11:50 P.M.). Thereafter, no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances. The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate concerned either through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI,” NTA said.
As per the NIFTEE 2026 application correction guidelines, candidates will not be allowed to change their mobile number, email ID, permanent and present address, or the uploaded signature image.
However, candidates will be permitted to update any one of the following details: candidate’s name, father’s name, or mother’s name.

Candidates can edit their Class 10 and Class 12 details, and also update graduation and post-graduation details wherever applicable. They are also allowed to modify their examination city selection, along with personal details such as date of birth, gender, category, and sub-category/PwBD.
In addition, candidates can edit their programme selection in the NIFTEE 2026 application form, but if the change affects the application fee, they will have to pay the additional fee as applicable. The correction will be accepted only after successful payment, if required, and candidates will get only one opportunity to make edits—once submitted, the form will be frozen.
“Please note that final correction shall be applicable only after payment of an additional fee, if required. In case of change in Category, or PwBD, if there is an impact on the fee amount then the Candidate will be charged an excess fee, as applicable. Excess payment made will not be refunded, if any,” the official notice said.
