NTA reopens CUET 2022 application window till May 31; know how to apply

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the CUET UG application window 2022 on May 27 at cuet.samarth.ac.in. The candidates who have not yet registered for CUET 2022 can fill their applications till May 31 (9 pm).

“In view of the representations received from the candidates regarding giving them an opportunity to submit their online application form for CUET (UG) - 2022, National Testing Agency has decided to provide the opportunity to the candidates to fill up the online application form of CUET (UG) - 2022,” reads an official notification available on the NTA CUET’s website.

The registration window for CUET UG 2022 was closed on May 22. As many as 11,51,319 candidates have applied for CUET 2022 and 9,13,540 have paid the fees for the UG entrance exam till May 22.

On the other hand, NTA has opened the CUET application correction window for the registered candidates on May 25 and the editing facility will be available till May 31.

CUET 2022: How to apply

• Visit the official website - cuet.samarth.ac.in

• Now, click on the “Register” tab.

• Fill up the registration form of CUET by adding the personal, academic and contact details.

• Choose the exam centres and choice of tests.

• Candidates now need to upload the required documents in the prescribed format.

• Pay the application fee in online mode.

• Download and take out a few printouts of the duly filled application form for future references.

The University of Delhi has received over 6 lakh applications for Delhi University UG admission through CUET 2022, as per the report by News18. This is also the highest number of applications for any university followed by 3.94 lakh for Banaras Hindu University and 2.34 lakh applications for University of Allahabad.

CUET UG 2022 will be conducted in the first and second week of July in computer-based mode. The CUET 2022 exam will be held in two shifts on different dates. NTA will soon announce the CUET entrance test dates on its official website.
