The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the National Teachers Eligibility Test (NTET) 2026 advance intimation examination city on the official website of NTA NTET at exams.nta.nic.in/ntet/. Applicants can download their slip by using the login credentials, including application number and password.

The official notice reads, “The candidates may please note that this is NOT the Admit Card for NTET-2026 This is only an Advance Intimation of the Exam City allotted where the Examination Centre will be located, to facilitate the candidates. The Admit Card of the Examination will be issued shortly.”

To download the NTET advance intimation examination city 2026, applicants need to follow the steps given below:

  • Visit the official website of NTA NTET at exams.nta.nic.in/ntet/

  • On the homepage, click on the "Advance City Intimation for NEET(UG) - 2026" link under the "Candidate Activity" section

  • Enter the login credentials, including application number, date of birth, or password, and the security pin (captcha) displayed and then 'submit'

  • The NTET advance intimation examination city slip 2026 will appear on the screen

  • Download the NTET advance intimation examination city slip 2026 and take a printout for future reference.

NTET 2026: Exam details

The NTET exam is for postgraduates of Indian Systems Medicine and Homoeopathy. The examination is scheduled for April 28, 2026, and will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple centres in cities nationwide. The test paper will be divided into eight sections, each aligned with units from the prescribed syllabus, and all sections will feature objective-type multiple choice questions (MCQs).

The question paper will be available in both English and Hindi; however, in case of any ambiguity in translation or interpretation, the English version will be considered final. Each test paper will have a duration of 120 minutes, with PwD/PwBD candidates eligible for compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour.
