NVS Class 9, 11 lateral entry registration 2024 last date extended to November 7

NVS Admission 2023: JNVST Class 9 and 11 lateral entry admission tests will be conducted on February 10. Know eligibility exam pattern.
NEW DELHI: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the last date for submission of applications for Class 9 and 11 lateral entry admission 2024. Students will now be able to apply for JNVST Class 9, 11 lateral entry till November 7 at the official website, navodaya.gov.in.
As per the schedule announced earlier, the last date was October 31. However, the NVS lateral entry admission deadline has been extended by 7 days. Both NVS Class 9 and 11 lateral entry admission test will be conducted on February 10.
Students who are studying Class 10 in the 2023 January to December session or April 2023 to March 2024 session only are eligible to apply for Class 11 lateral entry selection test. Those who have cleared the Class 10 exam prior to 2023-24 academic session are not eligible.
Students will have to upload their photograph, signature and parent’s signature in jpgor jpeg format and the file size should be between 10kb to 100 kb.
As per the NVS age limit criteria, date of birth of the students should be between June 1, 2007 to July 31, 2009 (both days inclusive).
NVS lateral entry test will be held for a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes from 11 AM to 1:30 PM and will have five sections with only objective-type questions. Additional time of 15 minutes is allowed for reading the instructions and questions from 10:45 AM to 11 AM. An extra time of 50 minutes will be allowed to differently-abled students, it said.

The institute has also uploaded NVS Class 9 and 11 sample question paper on the official website, cbseitms.nic.in . The question paper will have five sections carrying a total of 100 marks.
