NVS registration deadline extended for 1,377 non-teaching posts; application fee

NEW DELHI: The National Test Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for recruitment to various non-teaching posts at the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). Eligible candidates will now be able to fill out the NVS application form by May 7 through the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NVS.
Previously, the deadline for filling out the application form and making online payments was April 30. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the application form correction window from May 9 to May 11. Initially, the form correction period was scheduled from May 2 to May 4.
The NVS recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1,377 vacancies for non-teaching staff positions. These vacancies include female staff nurses, assistant section officers, audit assistants, legal assistants, junior translation officers, stenographers, computer operators, catering supervisors, junior secretariat assistants (HQ/RQ cadre), junior secretariat assistants, electrician cum plumber, lab attendant, mess helper and multi-tasking staff.
“It is informed that there is no change in the Cut-off date for the eligibility. The crucial date for determining the eligibility will remain as April 30 as notified in the vacancy notification of NVS, HQ,” the official notice read.
Candidates from unreserved (UR), economically weaker section (EWS), other backward class (OBC) categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 for all posts except female staff nurses. For female staff nurses, the application fee is Rs 1,500. For scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), person with disability (PwD) category candidates the application fee is Rs 500 for all posts.
