NEW DELHI: Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) has announced the Odisha National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 round 2 seat allotment result. Candidates who participated in the counselling process can download the Odisha NEET PG 2024 round 2 seat allotment result through the official website, dmetodisha.in.

Odisha NEET PG 2024 Round 2 seat allotment is based on the candidate's rank, category, preferences filled during choice locking, and seat availability in the respective institutions.

Candidates can use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the Odisha NEET PG 2024 round 2 seat allotment result.

As per the schedule, candidates will be able to download the Odisha NEET PG 2024 seat allotment letter from December 23 to 24. Shortlisted candidates will have to report to the allotted institute to confirm their admission. The reporting deadline for Odisha NEET PG 2024 round 2 candidates is December 24.

Odisha NEET PG Counselling 2024: What's next?

1. Freeze: The candidate accepts the allotted seat and locks it, confirming they are satisfied with the seat. The candidate will not be considered for further rounds of counseling or any upgradation. The seat is final.

2. Float : The candidate accepts the allotted seat but remains eligible for an upgrade to a better seat in future rounds. If a better seat becomes available in the next round, the candidate will be upgraded. If no better seat is available, they keep the current seat.

3. Slide : The candidate accepts the allotted seat but wishes to be considered for an upgrade within the same institution (for example, a different course or specialty). If a better course or specialty is available within the same college or institute in the next round, the candidate will be upgraded to that seat.
