NEW DELHI: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has opened the registration window for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) recruitment examination 2024 for various group B and group C posts today, April 5. Eligible candidates should fill out the OSSC CGL 2024 application form by visiting the official website, ossc.gov.in.

According to the official notice, the deadline to complete the OSSC CGL 2024 registration process is May 2 to fill out the application forms by May 5. The OSSC recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 595 vacancies for inspector, auditor, junior assistant and various other posts.

Candidates are allowed to make changes in the OSSC CGL 2024 application form from April 5 to May 17 through the official website. SSC CGL 2024 prelim exams are tentatively scheduled to be held in July-September.

The OSSC CGL 2024 selection process comprises four stages. The initial stage consists of a prelims exam, followed by the mains exam in stage two. Stage three involves a computer skill test, followed by document verification.

SSC CGL Exam 2024: Eligibility criteria

Candidates should check the eligibility criteria given below before applying for Odisha SSC CGL 2024.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 21 years old to 38 years old as of January 1, 2024. The age relaxation criteria are applicable for reserved category candidates.

Education qualification

  • Candidates should have completed their graduation from a recognised university. Additionally, they should possess basic computer knowledge, including proficiency in using computer, internet, email, word processing, data analysis, and presentation software.

  • Candidates should have passed the middle school examination with Odia as a language subject. or

  • Candidates should have passed the higher secondary certificate (HSC) exam with Odia as the medium of examination in non-language subjects to be eligible. or

  • Candidates should have passed Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class 7 or above from a school or educational institution recognised by the Odisha government. or

  • Candidates should have passed a test in Odia in middle English school standard conducted by the school and mass education department, government of Odisha.
