Computer-based entrance test to be held from May 4 to May 9 for admissions to government and private colleges in Odisha.

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2026 has announced the online application forms for admissions to a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate professional courses offered by government and private universities and colleges across Odisha.
The online application process will begin from today January 28, and close on March 22. Candidates can submit the applications only through the official OJEE website at www.ojee.nic.in.
As per the official notice, the OJEE 2026 examination will be conducted tentatively on May 4 to May 9, in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Details related to examination centres, dates and shifts will be mentioned in the candidates’ admit cards .
The entrance examination will be held for admission to courses including Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharm), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing), Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Post BSc Nursing), Post Diploma Nursing, Bachelor of Computer Application and Technology (B CAT)
The masters courses include Master of Science in Nursing (MSc Nursing), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Science in Computer Science [MSc (Computer Science)], Master of Business Administration (MBA), Integrated Master of Business Administration (Integrated MBA), Master of Technology (M Tech), Master of Technology (Part-Time), Master of Architecture (M Arch), Master of Planning (M Plan) and Master of Pharmacy (M Pharm).
Application forms are also open for admissions to lateral entry to Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharm) programmes in institutions across the state.
The outside state domicile candidates are not eligible for admission to government colleges in Odisha, but they can apply for private colleges for all listed courses except B CAT, as per existing rules. However, candidates from both Odisha and outside the state are eligible to apply for B CAT programmes.

The OJEE press release further noted that admissions to Bachelor of Technology (B Tech), Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch), Bachelor of Planning (B Plan), Integrated Master of Science (Integrated MSc) and medical courses in Odisha will not be conducted through OJEE.
It stated that admissions to programmes such as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) will be carried out through Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2026 [JEE (Main)] and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2026 [NEET (UG)], conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
