NEW DELHI, JANUARY 7: Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has announced the result of OSSTET 2018 for both papers - paper I and II on January 7, 2019. OSSTET result has been declared in online mode. In order to check OSSTET result 2018, candidates must visit the official website - http://www.bseodisha.ac.in/, click on the result link and enter email ID and password in the result login window. OSSTET result 2018 contains the marks secured by the candidates for the paper they have appeared.
Only those candidates have been shortlisted for the TET eligibility certificate who have scored 60% marks (for general candidates) and 50% marks (for SC/ST/BC candidates) along with scoring the category wise cut off scores. Candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks along with the category wise cut off marks have only been shortlisted for the eligibility certificate, which will remain valid till the candidates reach their upper age limit prescribed for recruitment of teachers.
Along with the result of OSSTET, the examination authority has also released the final answer key wherein candidates can find all the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam.
The exam was conducted for a total of 150 marks to test the candidates knowledge on Child Development and Pedagogy, Social Studies, Mathematics, and command over the English/Urdu/Telugu/Odia language.
OSSTET exam was conducted on October 5 2018 in offline mode. The exam was conducted to test the eligibility of the candidates as teachers for classes 1 to 8. Candidates who want to become teachers in classes 1 to 5 had appeared for paper I of OSSTET while those who wish to become teachers in classes 6 to 8 had taken the test for paper 2.
