PAU to hold annual convocation ceremony on March 5

NEW DELHI : The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has scheduled the Annual Convocation 2025 ceremony to be held on March 5. The event will be held at Dr Manmohan Singh Auditorium at PAU Ludhiana from 11 am.
The event will begin upon the arrival of the governor of Punjab, the chancellor of PAU, and the chief guest at the reception room in the auditorium. The governor, chief guest and vice chancellor will then join the academic procession.
The academic procession will move into the PAU convocation hall and all the members of the procession will take their seats.
According to the PAU statement, the vice chancellor of PAU will welcome the governor of Punjab and the chief guests and other guests and will read the convocation report. The vice chancellor will then request the chancellor of PAU to declare the convocation open.

Students will be awarded with Phd and master’s degrees along with Chancellor’s medals and merit certificates. “The conferment of PhD, master’s, and the award of the chancellor medals and merit certificates will be delivered by the governor of Punjab, and the chief guest,” the PAU statement reads.
After the award distribution, the vice chancellor will request the governor of Punjab and the chief guest to address the convocation ceremony and announce its conclusion. The ceremony closing will be followed by the National Anthem, departure of the academic procession, and then lunch.
