PGIMER 2020 application form released for January session; check steps to apply

October 28; NEW DELHI: PGIMER. Chandigarh has made the application form of PGIMER 2020 for January session available on October 26, 2019. Only candidates who fulfills the basic eligibility criteria will be eligible to register for PGIMER entrance exam for January session. The last date for PGIMER registration process is November 14, 2019.

How to apply for PGIMER 2020 January session?

The application form can be filled in six steps as mentioned below

• Online registration - For this candidates are required to visit the official website (pgimer.edu.in) and click on 'admission notice for MD/MS courses'. After that they have to register by giving their details like name, mother’s name, gender, nationality, adres, course applying for, etc.

• Issuance of application number - After registering, candidates will be issued a registration number, which will be sent on their registered mobile number and email ID

• Filling of details - In the next step candidates have to fill in the details of their educational qualification

• Uploading of documents - Then candidates have to upload scanned photograph of themselves, their signature, internship certificate and MBBS degree/provisional certificate with the specifications given by the authorities

• Payment of fees - Medical graduates have to pay a fee for application as mentioned in the table below

• Printout of confirmation page - Once candidates complete the steps given above a confirmation page will appear on the screen. They are required to take 4-5 printouts of this confirmation page of the application form

It is mandatory for candidates to register themselves in order to appear for Postgraduate Medical Education and Research entrance examination. Candidates will be required to pay a fee while filling the application form, details of which are mentioned in the table below. It is to be noted that medical graduates can pay this fee in online mode through credit/debit cards and net banking.

PGIMER Application Fee

Medical graduates who fill the application form of PGIMER 2020 January session successfully will be able to download the admit card tentatively from November 21. PGIMER, Chandigarh will conduct the examination on November 30, 2019, for admission to 207 Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) seats in its residency-cum-training programme of three years. The entrance examination is conducted in 13 major cities of India.
