NEW DELHI: The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh has started the registration for round two of counselling followed by the choice filling and locking session. Eligible candidates are required to register themselves online for round two of PGI Chandigarh counselling till July 9, 2020, up to 10:00 PM. PGI Counselling 2020 is conducted for admission to 306 MD/MS seats available in Puducherry campus. Aspirants can go through the step by step procedure to register themselves for the counselling session.
Steps to register for PGIMER 2020 round two
Aspirants can check the steps listed below to know the process of registering for PGI counselling 2020 round two,
Step 1 - Visit the official website pgimer.edu.in and click on the registration link.
Step 2 - After being re-directed to the next page, candidates need to click on the tab that says "Click here to register".
Step 3 - Those who have already registered in round one are not required to register for round two.
Step 4- Fill the asked details along with the choice of course and pay the fee.
Step 5 - Take a printout of the registration form for future reference.
Next stage after registration
After the successful registration process, the authority will conduct the seat allotment session for PGIMER, Chandigarh on July 10, 2020. The seats will be allotted to the aspirants on the grounds of their performance in the PGIMER 2020 exam, choices filed by them the choice filling and locking session and availability of seats. The result for round two will then be declared on July 11, 2020, by 10:00 AM and the selected candidates are required to report physically to the counselling venue on July 18, 2020, at 9:00 AM. In case of any vacant seats left after round two, the authority will conduct third round in the offline mode.
