PGIMER 2020 spot counselling guidelines released for foreign nationals

NEW DELHI: Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh has released a notice regarding the allotment of seats to Foreign National Candidates for the MD/MS course July session. In the public notice, Registrar of PGIMER, Chandigarh has informed aspirants who have applied and qualified PGIMER 2020 exam under the Foreign National category that the counselling will be conducted for such candidates through a spot round.
The spot counselling round for such candidates will be conducted in offline mode on July 31, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Bhargava Auditorium, PGIMER. All aspirants are required to report at the counselling venue as per the aforementioned schedule.
PGIMER exam was conducted on June 14 for granting admission to 306 seats to be filled in 20 specialties of Masters of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) courses.

Guidelines for PGIMER spot round counselling

The physical presence of aspirants is mandatory.

Seats of MD/MS course will strictly be granted to aspirants who have No Objection Certificate (NOC), received from the office of undersigned through the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India.

Aspirants who will be allotted seats through spot round counselling will be required to join the seat immediately.

In order to, join the seat aspirants are advised to bring their original certificates such as rank letter, admit card, and all other original certificates/testimonials.

As admission will be subject to verification of documents and aspirants will not be given any extra time under any circumstances.
