NEW DELHI: Plaksha University (PU), hosted a teacher's training programme on STEM education for senior secondary school lecturers across the state. The workshop was held at Plaksha’s Mohali campus and was attended by 118 school educators, the PU statement said.
As per the PU statement, the university hosted a training programme to equip teachers with modern educational tools. The workshop sessions offered practical applications, real-world examples, and experimental tools, to enable teachers to bring subjects to life in their classrooms.
During the workshop, teachers were introduced to new methods for active learning, project-based instruction, and effective interdisciplinary techniques that can be used to make concepts accessible and engaging for students.

The participating teachers received certificates for their dedication to advancing educational outcomes and their contributions to shaping future-ready learners, the PU statement adds.
The workshop also explored career paths in various fields like artificial intelligence, robotics, biosystems, and data science. The workshop included interactive sessions and learning techniques in mathematics, physics, and biology, led by faculty experts.
