#PostponeINICET: Doctors request AIIMS to postpone exam, worry about travel restrictions
Doctors took to Twitter to request AIIMS to postpone INI CET 2021. The exam will be held on June 16, 2021, in computer-based mode.

NEW DELHI: After the release of admit cards for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET), medical graduates are worried over the travel restrictions across India. With the rise in COVID-19 cases, lockdown has been imposed in major cities of India. Doctors took to Twitter requesting All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi, to postpone INI CET 2021 using hashtags campaigns like #postponeINICET or #PostponeINICETSSaveDoctors.
AIIMS, New Delhi has released INI CET admit card 2021 on June 9 at aiimsexams.ac.in. The registered candidates can download INI CET 2021 admit cards by logging in to the website. INI CET will be conducted on June 16, 2021.
Doctors worried over ‘travel restrictions’
An instruction on the INI CET hall ticket reads, “PREPARE EARLY AND REACH EARLY, AIIMS New Delhi is not responsible for travel restrictions, if any.” Medical graduates appearing for INI CET have expressed their concern and criticised the statement by AIIMS through Twitter.
A surgeon tweeted, “This statement is like rubbing salt on raw wounds.”

With travel restrictions and curfew, how can a candidate reach the exam centre, an aspirant expressed his concern.

A user tweeted that an aspirant gave her INI CET exam centre as Trivandrum and got Ajmer. The aspirant was in Rajasthan when the exam was announced and wrote for help.
My sister got her center for her AIIMS INICET exam. She gave center as Trivandrum, Kerala and got Ajmair, Rajasthan. She was in Rajasthan when exam was announced and wrote to them seeking help, but didn't get any response. So she returned to Kerala. #PostponeINICETSSaveDoctors

INI CET 2021 exam
AIIMS Delhi to conduct AIIMS INI CET 2021 July session for admission to 217 Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) and Doctorate of Medicine (DM). Candidates have to answer 200 questions within 180 minutes.
The result of INI CET 2021 is expected to be announced on or before June 22. Candidates qualifying the exam will be granted admission to 8 AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru and PGIMER Chandigarh.
